I’ve been asked to make some JOSS (Jon Olsson Super Session) video entries for friends. Best of luck to all of them. I’ll be adding the last couple as they are completed. Voting is now open for the JOSS video contest, head on over to Newschoolers.com, check out all the videos and vote for some of our friends: http://www.newschoolers.com/web/mediacontests/entrieslist/cid/45/.
Duncan Adams crushed it this year at Winter X. He laid down these (see video) super stylie runs in the finals. He started off his run by defining style at a whole new level of amplitude with a massive air to fakie that was followed up with a ridiculous zero spin (switch to switch in the pipe). The rest of his run was very technical and simply oozing style. While his run did not quite stand up to some of the bigger scores of the night, the judges seemed to acknowledge the style, fluidity and consistency of Adams, rewarding him with fifth place. It is refreshing to see runs like Duncan’s in a world of double flips and 1260’s. If your going to dubs, at least make them look like Kevin Rolland’s.
Sorry it has been a bit of a wait for the new goods folks, but I promise they will be worth the wait. I am finishing up some final shooting with Wallisch and Brogan for the Jiberish edit this weekend. Riders in the edit include Matt Walker, Joe Mango, Corey Vanular, Andrew Hathaway, Tom Wallisch & Jon Brogan.
An Electric edit is also dropping in the very near future featuring the likes of Chris Logan, Parker White, Jon Brogan & Liam Downey.

I’ve recently completed my D.I.Y. dolly! I’m very stoked about it to say the least. I haven’t gotten to shoot skiing yet but I’ve sure got some ideas brewing. I didn’t include pics of the entire process, I figured there is enough tutorials on D.I.Y. dollys (do a quick google search if you are looking for ideas). Check out a few rough shots below from the first test!
By the way…I’ve been working an edit with Jon Brogan and Ahmet Dadali. Keep your eyes peeled for this and a whole heap of other videos.
